Our Zen Nixie Clock featured in Project Blue Book, a Cold War-era TV drama exploring UFO mysteries.

In 2019, our Zen Nixie Clock made an appearance in episode 6 of the first season of Project Blue Book, a historical mystery series inspired by the real-life U.S. Air Force program investigating UFO sightings during the Cold War. Set against the tension of the atomic age, the show follows a scientist who risks everything to uncover the truth. Our clock can be seen in a suspenseful moment as the countdown to a nuclear missile launch unexpectedly begins at an active military site—adding to the eerie atmosphere of the scene.
