Březolupy workshop
Dalibor Farny — Est. 2011
A workshop,
not just
a brand.
"I could never accept that such a beautiful technology had no place in the present."
Dalibor Farny started rebuilding Nixie tube technology in 2011, when the original factories were long gone and the know-how had nearly disappeared.
Nixie tubes belong to another era. They are old-school, fragile, inefficient in all the wrong modern ways — and still, they produce a kind of light that no screen can imitate.
What began as a personal experiment became years of work: learning the glass, the metal parts, the vacuum process, the gas filling, the ageing, the failures and the small details that make a tube glow reliably.
Today, our Czech workshop does not only design Nixie clocks. We manufacture the tubes inside them.
That is what makes each clock different. It is not built around a component bought from old stock. It starts with a tube made by us, by hand, in a workshop created to bring this forgotten technology back to life.
