Robin Sterling, a UK-based physicist-turned-maker, pairs our handmade R-series Nixie tubes with finely sculpted walnut, oak, or burnt-beech bases to create limited, furniture-grade clocks. Each piece is designed, milled, and finished in his Norwich workshop, with custom electronics for time-keeping and dimming hidden inside the wood. The result is an elegant blend of warm timber and glowing digits—an earthier alternative to the usual metal-and-glass Nixie aesthetic.
